There are two possibilities to get to Regensburg from Munich Airport:
(2) The second option is to go to Regensburg by public transportion. From the airport terminal, there is a direct train to Regensburg Main Station (Regionalexpress RE 22) which leaves every hour. The tracks are located in Munich Airport Center between terminal 1 and 2. You can follow the signs. The exact schedules can be found at Deutsche Bahn website. The fare for the train is 30 € (one way). You may want to consider buying a "Bayern-Ticket" which is 32 € for one traveller, but 42 € for two travellers, 52 € for three and so on.
From the train station in Regensburg, buses and taxis are available for local transportation.
